Valentina Martino

Valentina Martino (PhD) is Associate Professor in Cultural and Communicative Processes in the Department of Communication and Social Research at Sapienza University of Rome, where she teaches Corporate and Organizational Communication. Her main research interests are business communication, cultural and heritage strategies for organizations, university communication and innovation. She coordinates the “BiblHuB” project, a research programme and specialist section of Sapienza Library System dedicated to corporate literature, including company history books and other genres of corporate and cultural monographs promoted by both public and private organisations (https://web.uniroma1.it/bibliocoris/biblhub-di-letteratura-aziendale/fondo-di-letteratura-aziendale-biblhub-sapienza). Her works has been published in national and international books and journals such as American Behavioral Scientist, Communication Management Review, International Journal of Strategic Communication, Public Relations Review. In 2016, she translated with Alessandro Lovari (Cagliari University) the first Italian edition of James Grunig’s works in the book Public (&) Relations. Teorie e pratiche delle relazioni pubbliche in un mondo che cambia (FrancoAngeli, 2016). Her most recent books: Tra le pagine del Made in Italy (with Angelo Bardelloni; Nuova Cultura, 2019); Dalle storie alla storia d’impresa. Memoria, comunicazione, heritage (Bonanno, 2013).
