Narcisa Paredes-Canilao

She is professor of philosophy at the College of Social Sciences, University of the Philippines Baguio. She teaches Ethical Issues in Development at the Master of Arts in Social and Development Studies program of the University. She has researched and published on the new critical theory in feminism, pedagogy, indigenous knowledge, research and development ethics, and sustainability, and sits as member of international editorial and advisory boards of journals and associations. Her most recent work is the co-authored article “Indigenous psychologies and critical-emancipatory psychology,” in I. Parker (ed.), Handbook of Critical Psychology, Routledge (forthcoming).
