Mazuba Kapambwe
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in African studies from the State University of New York Albany. She recently worked with an NGO in Lusaka, Zambia, called Barefeet Theatre which hosts an annual festival. She handled the social media management and public relations for that festival. In her spare time, she writes articles for publications like Afripop mag and blogs as afrosocialiting.wordpress.com. She demonstrates her love of African festivals by hosting a webseries called ‘The Fest Gurus’ which she created along with three other young Africans. They travelled to African festivals and recorded their experiences via social media (facebook, twitter, Instagram, Youtube and Tumblr) in attempt to showcase the best festivals on the continent. So far, she attended six festivals in four countries.
