Elena Granata
Graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic of Milan, and continued to work at the Department of Architecture and Urban studies as a researcher after completing a PhD in territorial and environmental planning. She teaches Urban and territorial analysis and Interpretations for landscape and environment design, at the Polytechnic of Milan and Places and relations in the contemporary city, at the Sophia College, Incisa Valdarno, Florence. She holds master classes at both in Italy and abroad. Her research focuses on the landscape and environment, on the social and territorial transformations, local economies and territory. She is author of essays, articles and books. In particular, among the more recent volumes: La mente che cammina. Esperienze e luoghi (Maggioli, 2012); Sapere è un verbo all’infinito (with A.
